All grapes from our own vineyards are picked by hand. This implies rigorous selection directly on the vine - only fully ripe, unscathed fruit ends up in the cellar. By the way: we have no irrigation systems in our vineyards. It is true that in extremely dry years it may happen that we forgo one or another harvest from young vineyards. On the other hand, the vines will root substantially more deeply, thus releasing extra aromas and flavors as well as power into the grapes.

Gloria
The first pass through the vineyard Gloria yielded grapes that were totally healthy and very ripe. The weather could not be better — sunny and not too warm; should remain so for the next few days of the harvest.
